Almond Green Beans


Ingredients:

1/2 lb green beans

salt

1/4 c chopped almonds

3 tbsp olive oil

black pepper

Directions:

1. Blanch beans for 2 min in boiling water, transfer to ice water to cool

2. Combine almonds and oil in pan. Saute for 6 minutes until golden.

3. Add beans to a hot oiled pan. Cook for approx. 7 minutes, stirring frequentyl, until charred in some spots. Season with salt.

4. Top with almond mixture.
